MIFARE Energy Saving Switch

Ideally suited for hotel and student accommodation applications, these readers feature an ergonomic design featuring a blue backlit card slot. These readers have the distinct advantage that the controlled circuit will only be engaged when a card of the correct technology is inserted. The same contactless MIFARE card used for door access can be used.

The user inserts their access card into the reader to enable the integral relay this, in turn, controls lights, power circuits and other equipment. When leaving the room, the user removes the card and power is shut off after 15 seconds allowing the safe exit of the room occupants.
