A New Chapter: TDSi’s Journey to Hirsch

Back in January, we shared the news that TDSi would begin operating as TDSi by Hirsch; the first step in bringing our two brands closer together. It was a moment that marked the start of a journey we’re proud to now be moving further along.

Today marks another milestone on that journey: our building signage is changing from TDSi to Hirsch. It might seem like a small, physical detail, but it’s a visible sign of just how aligned our two organisations have become and a public marker of the progress we’ve made behind the scenes over the past several months.

Why This Move Matters

This transition has never been about TDSi disappearing. It’s about TDSi and Hirsch coming together as one, stronger organisation combining decades of trusted access control expertise with a broader portfolio, a wider global network, and greater investment in innovation. Bringing our two brands under a single name will allow us to offer more to our customers and partners: more resource, more support, and more capability, all built on the foundations that TDSi has spent years establishing.

What’s Changing

Over the next couple of months or so, you’ll start to notice more of these changes as we continue the gradual transition to the Hirsch name. This will include gradual updates to our product branding, for example, the TDSi GARDiS Controller will soon move from its familiar dark blue casing to a new grey finish and carry the Hirsch logo. You’ll also start to see GARDiS under the Hirsch name at industry events, something that started back in April at The Security Event and includes our upcoming appearance at International Security Expo in London, where we’ll be exhibiting on the Hirsch Stand.

Each of these changes will roll out steadily, giving everyone — customers, partners, and our own teams — time to adjust as the TDSi name gradually gives way to Hirsch.

What Isn’t Changing

What isn’t changing is just as important as what is. The same people you’ve worked with, spoken to, and built relationships with are still here. The same products you rely on continue to be built to the same rigorous standards. The same partnership, service, and support you’ve come to expect from TDSi remain exactly where they’ve always been.

Our commitment to quality, service, and innovation hasn’t shifted an inch, we’re simply bringing that commitment under one unified name, backed by even greater strength and resource than before.

Looking Ahead

This is a moment of change, but it’s also a moment of continuity. The relationships we’ve built, the trust we’ve earned, and the quality we’ve delivered all carry forward into this next chapter. What changes is the name above the door, what stays the same is everything that name has always stood for.
