Quality assurance for our customers
Our mission is to achieve quality objectives towards world-class performance, through partnership, innovative design, quality manufacturing, product reliability, and total customer support. We develop and enhance the quality and control of our products, processes, systems, and people with a commitment to a policy of open communication, and continuous improvement, to develop understanding throughout the organisation.
TDSi adopt a process of Continuous Improvement as standard in all aspects of our business. This applies to the business processes as well as the products. Any issues raised, either internally or via our customers are reviewed and preventative and corrective actions are identified. Any changes to our processes or products that are identified are implemented to prevent any re-occurrences.
TDSi annually set business and quality objectives which are continuously measured and monitored. These objectives are reviewed quarterly by the board and the results are fed back to all staff as part of our on-going training programme.
TDSi continually seek feedback from customers relating to both our business processes and products to ensure improvement and customer satisfaction is achieved.
TDSi is committed to ensuring compliance, both product and process, to any statutory and regulatory standards that are applicable to the business. We continually monitor and update any required documentation that could have an effect upon the business.
TDSi’s Quality Process is modelled on ISO9001 and is certified by a third party certification process.
TDSi is approved to ISO9001:2008 by the BSI.
The European Union's Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive was implemented in member states in 2006. The directive imposed obligations on manufacturers of electronic equipment, to which TDSi have conformed.
All products that are subject to the WEEE Directive are clearly marked with the 'crossed out wheelie bin' logo in accordance with European Standard EN50419.
Information for customers
This symbol on the product or its packaging indicates that the product must not be disposed of with normal household waste. Instead, it is your responsibility to dispose of waste equipment by arranging to return it to a designated collection point for the recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment. By separating and recycling your waste equipment at the time of disposal you will help to conserve the environment and ensure that the equipment is recycled in a manner that protects humans and the environment.
Registration and Reporting
Our Environment Agency WEEE Produce Registration Number is WEE/BJ0054TQ.
The reformed RoHS2 2011/65/EU directive came into force on 21st July 2011, requiring member states to transpose to national law by 2nd January 2013, at which time RoHS 1 will be repealed. This new directive is now a CE marking directive and works alongside the EMC and Low Voltage Directives.
Products placed on the market by TDSi are compliant with the protection requirements of this directive.
