New Year - New Opportunities

For some people January is a tough month, peppered by bad weather and promises to ‘get fitter’ or various other self-improvement goals but at TDSi we hit the ground running as usual for the start of the New Year, but this time on two fronts. Our Tough Mudder Team started training for the event we’ll be taking part in on April 26th (as we raise funds for Help for Heroes) and we were at the Intersec Dubai 2014 (19th-21st January) show the first big trade show of the year which wisely entices delegates and exhibitors with the chance to find some winter sun as well as excellent networking opportunities!
Intersec this year gave us the opportunity to showcase the new version of EXgarde Pro 4.2 which now includes integration to ASSA ABLOY®’s Aperio wireless lock system, to enhance our offer of exciting new integrated security options. As well as meeting our local partners and customers.
I am delighted to say we have also started off the New Year with a new face - Dan England has taken up a role as TDSi’s new National Account Manager for UK Sales. Whilst TDSi is passionately growing its overseas business, we also remember that the UK is where our business was founded and is still the single biggest market for our products. Dan’s appointment recognises this and with his extensive career in integrated security technology (and having installed many systems personally) he has the personal experience that means he knows exactly what is required to get a project completed on time and on budget, whilst offering the best solution for the client and installer alike. He also understands the business drivers in security and has an excellent business development track record, meaning he is a perfect fit for TDSi moving forward in an exciting new year.
In the latter part of 2013, TDSi commissioned a comprehensive customer survey, on the back of an excellent year for business, to help us see how we can further benefit our clients and partners. The results indicated that TDSi’s products are well-respected and that responders believe we offer a good all round customer experience. The survey also showed that our clients like customer-centric product development and catering for different market needs something we pride ourselves in doing around the world. It also gave us a chance to further engage with customers and to receive feedback on products and services that our client base would like to see more of. Having carefully examined the results we have made the feedback a key part of our product and services planning for 2014 and look forward to announcing these new initiatives throughout the year
Something that became particularly clear in 2013 was how important our partners and our customers appreciate TDSi appearing at events and roadshows across the globe. Along with this month’s Intersec in Dubai we will also be appearing at Securex West Africa in Nigeria (18th- 19th March) IFSEC 2014 (17th - 19th June) and in the UK at Security TWENTY 14 in Bristol (23rd April) and Manchester (8th July). We have many more events planned, but it’s good to be able to confirm so many appearances so early in 2014. We look forward to seeing you soon at one of our events.
