Why Should You Visit IFSEC International 2016?

 6th Jun 2016

Why should you visit?

If you don’t know already, IFSEC International (21st-23rd June 2016) is one of the biggest events in the security calendar. Firmly rooted at the ExCel London Exhibition Centre, IFSEC International seems to be more popular than ever, attracting exhibitors and visitors from around the globe to show the best and brightest the security industry has to offer.

There are three distinct angles of interest for anyone visiting IFSEC International

tickFirstly the vast array of technology and the latest innovations on show give a real flavour of what the security industry is doing right now and has planned for the future.

tickSecondly, it is the perfect opportunity to hear industry experts and speakers discuss present and future trends and how these will shape the security space of tomorrow.

tickThirdly, it is the perfect event to network with like-minded individuals and organisations within the security sphere.

All in all, it’s the perfect event for anyone even remotely interested in security!

What to expect from TDSi this year

As usual, we have an exciting line up on the TDSi stand (F1200 when you want to find us):

We will be giving a sneak preview of our latest GARDiS software, a web-based application that is designed to offer even greater flexibility and suitability to modern applications. One software install is all that is required to provide complete access control security for your business or organisation’s needs.

GARDiS offers all the benefits of a highly secure web-based application – it is easily adaptable for an increased workload, provides easier maintenance and installation, is more secure and is accessible from anywhere on any device. GARDiS also features a simple-to-use and intuitive interface, that we have designed and built directly around the needs of users and operators.

Software Integration

We will also be showing visitors how TDSI’s systems can be used in conjunction with a number of other big-name specialists to create the perfect security network. We recently launched our plugin for Milestone’s XProtect® Video Management Software (VMS) using the XProtect Access add-on. This integrates directly with TDSi’s EXgarde Access Management and Integrated Security Systems Management software.

EXgarde also offers full integration with ASSA ABLOY’s KS100 server cabinet wireless electronic lock to assure that the physical security of servers is included in the wider remit of protection across one or a number of secure sites.

Other integration partners include Texecom’s alarm control panels, ASSA ABLOY's Aperio™ wireless locks, SimonsVoss’ SmartIntego wireless door locks, and Microsoft Active Directory – which ensures that core business systems can interact, compare and record security data as well.

Other products on display

We appreciate that IFSEC International is the ideal time to get up close and personal with the TDSi product range so we’ll also be showing a number of our other popular products, including the SOLOgarde, MICROgarde and EXcel controllers.

We will also have a section looking at our enterprise solutions, along with the integration possibilities between our own software products, including EXgarde security management and the VUgarde CCTV VMS.

Also on stand F1200

As well as products, the TDSi team will be on hand to talk about our services – which includes the TDSi Partner Programme. IFSEC International is the ideal opportunity to talk to us about the opportunities to grow your business by joining the programme, which has been developed to fully meet individual customer needs and to ensure our partners get the exact level of support you need.

Other attractions at IFSEC International 2016

The event is famed for its professional content as much as the kit on display and this year is no different. The Seminars and Workshops are well worth investigating if you are looking from some insight from your visit.

TDSI’s very own Technical Director Mike Sussman will taking part in a Panel Discussion entitled ‘Future of access control’ at 11am on Wednesday 22nd June (in the IFSEC Installer Theatre) which will discuss the thought provoking subject and promises to offer a lively debate. Mike will be discussing the subject with Gareth Ellams (Managing Director of AssaAbloy), Michael Unger (Vice President - Marketing & Products at SALTOSystems) and Adam Stroud (CEO of Paxton).

IFSEC International is also well known for its high profile headline speakers – this year these include Iraq War veteran and military commander Colonel Tim Collins OBE on Tuesday 21st June (11:30-12:30), journalist and BBC News chief news correspondent Kate Adie OBE on Wednesday 22nd June (11:30-12:30), and British athlete, rowing champion and double Olympic gold medalist James Cracknell OBE on Thursday 23rd June (11:30-12:30).
