I hope this message continues to find you well. At TDSi we are getting used to our new way of working and I hope you are too.
Like most businesses we are continuing to monitor events closely and are making adaptations accordingly to safeguard the well-being of our employees, customers and everyone in our community to fulfil our purpose of delivering peace of mind. This is an update to our COVID-19 piece on March 17.
Security systems manufacturers and our customers supporting elements of the economy designated as key or critical have been classified as Key as well. This was announced by the SIA and BSIA last week following their lobbying of government for clarification.
This means that TDSi and our main component suppliers and sub-contract manufacturing partners have been designated as part of the critical supply chain to both the NHS and other critical services and we and they remain open and operational. So, while we support our installers and distributors that service these amazing organisations that are working for our country, we are also here for you and your other customers.
We have plenty of stock on hand and in forecast for manufacture to ensure no interruption of the supply chain during this critical time.
We continue to operate a two-team approach to how we service our customers and suppliers. The Blue Team are our skeleton staff at the office working between 9am - 4pm. Their purpose is to continue to process and ship orders that we receive. All other staff are designated as Red Team members and they will continue to service customers from home.
How you contact us will remain the same. How we operate internally will change but you shouldn’t notice a difference, but if you do, please contact me directly.
We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates in line with any changes to government guidelines.
