LeAnne Hill, Key Account Manager at TDSi commented, “We are looking forward to meeting visitors and discussing the benefits of access control at this exciting venue in Surrey. Of particular interest to visitors will be the latest version of TDSi’s security management software, EXgarde 4.4 which features an enhanced web portal meaning a security team can monitor a combination of security systems (including CCTV, access control and intruder alarms) from one place, on a device platform of choice.”

LeAnne added, “There is great demand in this market for installers and specifiers that can integrate physical security with wider IT systems. At TDSi we design and manufacture modern systems which are built to ensure business systems work together, complimented with expert technical assistance for installers. At Technology Exposed we will be showcasing the opportunities available for this growing market sector.”

With the advent of greater integration between IT and security systems, access control has rapidly become a key part of both the security and IT services of any organisation. Being able to link access control to other security systems (such as CCTV and intruder alarms) has obvious benefits for the management and control of any situation. However there are other advantages too, such as using access control to administer accurate time and attendance recording. Access control can also ensure safety by accurately recording the occupants within a facility, which is especially valuable in an emergency such as a fire, when evacuation and tracking the whereabouts of people is vital.

There are many options with regards to access control authentication, from flexible and highly affordable authentication cards to biometrics systems including fingerprint readers and even more advanced options such as facial recognition. TDSi offers all these options and readers which can utilise a combination of these to offer the highest levels of authentication and security.

The partnership between TDSi and Midwich has grown rapidly since the two businesses became partners two years ago, demonstrating the huge growth and demand for integrated security and IT systems.

The event offers an excellent opportunity to view the latest technology and to speak to the experts about the opportunities they provide.  LeAnne concludes, “I would encourage anyone interested in learning more about how our technology can be used as part of a centralised business IT systems network; to visit Midwich Technology Exposed and discuss the options with our team.”
